Mike Harris | Executive Chairman
As founding Chief Executive Officer of Egg plc, Mike took Egg from concept to a £1bn public company within 3 years. Previously, Mike was Chief Executive of Mercury Communications and board director of Cable & Wireless. He also created First Direct, the world's first telephone banking operation.
Tom Ilube | Chief Executive Officer
Previously, Tom was Chief Information Officer and Executive Committee member of Egg plc, the world's largest pure online bank. In 1996 Tom founded a software company where he was Chief Executive for 6 years. Tom's career spans 20 years with companies including Goldman Sachs, PwC and the London Stock Exchange.
Nigel Shadbolt | Chief Scientific Officer
Nigel is a Professor in the School of Electronics & Computer Science at the University of Southampton, with an international reputation in knowledge management and artificial intelligence. His current research focus is the Semantic Web. He is the former President of the British Computer Society.
Andy Thomas | Commercial Director
Andy is responsible for Garlik's distribution partnerships. He has over 20 years of business development and commercial experience and has previously worked at Sun Microsystems and latterly Capgemini where he was Business Development Director within their Retail & Consumer Products sector.
Steve Harris | Chief Technology Officer
Steve is responsible for Garlik's secure, industrial strength technology platform. He is widely regarded in the semantic web community as the architect of Garlik's open source, scalable RDF platform, 4store, and has served on the W3C working groups that defined the SPARQL query language
Andy Gueritz | Information Strategy Director
Andy is a seasoned strategy consultant with over 25 years experience in Business/IT Strategy, planning and technology investment management Amongst other roles, Andy acted as UK Programme Director at Egg, and was Vice President of Strategy & Technology at Mitchell Madison Group/marchFIRST. He was also a director in Software & Systems Development, working with MDIS and GEC.
