Meet the team
Garlik is the leading technology innovator and identity expert, and was established by the founders of the online banks, Egg and First Direct.
We collaborate with a panel of world-class ID protection and technology experts including former British Computer Society president Professor Nigel Shadbolt.
Together we have developed a range of products and services to give individuals the power to take control of their personal information online.
Andy Thomas / Managing Director
Andy joined Garlik in 2007 to lead the commercial development of the business, its products and services. Prior to Garlik he worked at Sun Microsystems and, latterly, Cap Gemini where he was Business Development Director for the Retail & Consumer Products sector.

Steve is responsible for Garlik's secure, industrial strength technology platform. In the Semantic Web community, he is widely regarded as the architect of Garlik's open source, scalable RDF platform, 5store, and has served on the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) working groups that defined the SPARQL query.
